Ruba grew up drawing — long before she understood the language of design.

The hand before the room
She pursued art first — painting and composition — before turning to the discipline of designing spaces. That foundation gave her something rare: an instinct for details others overlook, and the ability to find solutions where others see only constraints.

The atelier today
Today the atelier designs across residential, hospitality, and commercial — from private homes to restaurants, clinics to event halls. Every project is a dialogue between materials, light, and the people who will live within the space.

The Process
Four steps, from first conversation to final detail.
Stage 01 / 04
Before a single material is chosen, we listen. To how you move through your home, to the light that enters each room, to the rhythm of your daily life. This is not a questionnaire — it is a genuine dialogue that shapes everything that follows.
Stage 02 / 04
Each texture, each finish, each shadow is selected with intent. Walnut against marble, brass against linen, warmth against precision. We test combinations until the palette feels inevitable — as if no other arrangement were possible.
Stage 03 / 04
Every angle is studied, every proportion tested, every transition between rooms resolved. We work through detailed 3D visualizations and material samples so that what you see on paper is exactly what you will walk through in reality.
Stage 04 / 04
It is a promise kept. From the first conversation to the final detail, the space unfolds as it was meant to — a faithful reflection of who you are, built with craftsmanship that endures.
Beyond the studio
Away from the studio, Ruba draws, rides horses, and captures moments through photography. She plays the darbuka, prepares meals with the same precision she brings to her projects.
Family is the foundation. A wife and mother of two boys, she builds her work around the same values she designs into every home — warmth, generosity, and spaces where people genuinely feel they belong.

Questions
The atelier works in four stages — conversation, composition, curation, and installation. Every stage is led personally by Ruba; the client works with the principal, not with a project manager.
Luxury residential (villas, apartments, private residences), commercial (offices, clinics, showrooms), and hospitality (hotels, lounges, restaurants). The common thread is the level of finish and attention, not the building type.
Yes. Hospitality is an active focus for the studio. The atelier's residential discipline — materials, light, proportion, the care in details others overlook — translates directly to hospitality, where atmosphere is the product.
Yes. The atelier works across Israel and internationally. International projects are taken on selectively based on fit and scope.
Most residential projects span 8 to 18 months from first conversation to final installation, depending on scope and construction timelines. Commercial and hospitality projects vary by size.
Nothing. The first conversation is a listening session. We prefer to discover the project organically, on-site, without pre-filled briefs or inspiration folders.
The studio is located in Judeida-Makr, Israel. Clients are welcome to visit by appointment.
