Statement

This site is designed to conform with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, published by the W3C. Where applicable, we also follow the Israeli Standard IS 5568 (תקן ישראלי 5568), which adopts WCAG 2.1 AA as the national accessibility standard for websites.

Compliance is tested through a combination of automated tools (Lighthouse, axe DevTools, PageSpeed Insights), manual keyboard navigation review, screen reader spot-checks, and visual contrast auditing.

• A dedicated Accessibility Toolbar in the bottom-left corner of every page. It lets you adjust text size, switch to a highly legible font, pause animations, increase contrast, highlight every link, and enlarge the cursor. Your choices are remembered on this device.
• Full keyboard navigation. Every interactive element — links, buttons, menu, forms, the toolbar itself — can be reached and operated using Tab, Shift + Tab, Enter, and Space.
• An atelier-styled focus indicator (a brass outline) that remains visible at all times for keyboard users, never hidden.
• Respect for the operating system's Reduced Motion preference. If you have that setting enabled, animations are suppressed automatically without needing to change anything on this site.
• Semantic HTML throughout — proper headings, landmark regions (header, nav, main, footer), and ARIA labels where visual structure alone is not sufficient.
• Alternative text on meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology so screen readers are not cluttered with noise.
• A skip-to-content link at the top of every page, revealed when you press Tab, so you can jump straight past the navigation.

Despite our efforts, some parts of this site may not yet meet the full AA standard:

• Several scroll-triggered animations and a custom cursor are used on the homepage and project pages. These respect the reduced-motion setting — if you need a calmer experience, please enable "Pause animations" in the Accessibility Toolbar.
• Not every photograph in the portfolio has descriptive alternative text yet. Where the image is decorative, it is intentionally hidden from screen readers; where it is meaningful, we are completing the descriptions in phases.
• The site is currently English-only. A Hebrew version is planned and will include full RTL support.

We treat these as active items, not permanent exceptions. If any of them block you from reaching what you came for, please contact us and we will help directly.

Our accessibility coordinator is available to answer questions, help you reach content you cannot access, and receive feedback about barriers on this site.

We aim to respond to accessibility enquiries within five working days. If your request is urgent or time-sensitive, please say so in the subject line.

If you found something on this site that was difficult or impossible to use, please tell us. The most useful reports include:

• The page URL where you ran into the issue.
• What you were trying to do and what happened instead.
• The device and assistive technology you were using (if relevant).

We keep a record of every accessibility report and use it to prioritise fixes on the site.

This statement is reviewed at least once a year and whenever significant changes are made to the site. The version shown above reflects the most recent review.
