Ruba Tannous — Luxury Interiors & Living is an interior design atelier based in Judeida-Makr, Israel, led by Ruba Makhoul Tannous. We are the data controller for any information collected through this website.

We collect two kinds of information: what you share with us, and what is recorded automatically as part of a normal web visit.

Information you give us

• Contact details you submit through the contact form — your name, email address, and the message you send us.
• Correspondence you initiate by email or WhatsApp, and any attachments or context you share with us during the conversation.

Information collected automatically

If you consent to analytics cookies through our cookie banner, we collect anonymised information about your visit through Google Analytics 4: the pages you viewed, how you arrived, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and how long you stayed. This data never identifies you personally.

If you do not consent, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google from your visit.

Information we do not collect

• We do not run advertising pixels, re-targeting scripts, or social media trackers on this site.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.

• To answer your enquiry and continue the conversation about a possible project.
• To send you follow-up correspondence directly related to your enquiry.
• To understand how visitors experience the atelier's work, so we can improve the site (analytics only, if you have opted in).
• To comply with legal obligations where applicable.

We never use your information for marketing automation, profiling, or automated decisions that affect you.

Your information stays within the atelier except for one service provider that helps us run the site:

• Google LLC (Google Analytics) — only if you consent to analytics cookies. Google processes anonymised usage data on our behalf. Their privacy terms are at policies.google.com/privacy.
• Vercel Inc. (hosting) — provides server infrastructure that delivers the website to you. Vercel processes standard server logs (IP address, request timing) as any host does.

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or a legitimate request from Israeli authorities.

This site uses two categories of cookies, both controllable through the cookie banner shown on your first visit:

• Essential — required for the site to function. These remember your accessibility preferences and your cookie choice itself. They are set on your device only and never sent elsewhere.
• Analytics — set only after you consent. Used by Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site usage. You may withdraw consent any time through the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.

• Contact enquiries — retained for up to 24 months to serve you if you return, then deleted unless we have a continuing relationship with you as a client.
• Client project records — retained for the length of a project and up to 7 years after, in line with Israeli record-keeping and accounting requirements.
• Analytics data — retained by Google for 14 months (the default GA4 setting we use), after which it is automatically deleted.

Under Israeli law and the GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Delete your information, subject to any legal obligation that requires us to retain it.
• Withdraw consent to analytics at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
• Complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority (הרשות להגנת הפרטיות) if you believe your rights have been breached.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at office.rubatannous@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

We maintain reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information: encrypted transport (HTTPS) on every page, access limited to people inside the atelier who need it to respond to you, and service providers (Google, Vercel) that meet industry security standards.

No system is absolutely secure. If we ever became aware of a breach affecting your data, we would notify you and the relevant Israeli authority in line with the Data Security Regulations.

Google Analytics and Vercel are both based in the United States, which means some of your information may be transferred outside Israel. Both providers operate under recognised data-protection frameworks and contractually commit to standards comparable to Israeli and European law.

This site is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If a parent or guardian believes a child has submitted information through the site, please contact us and we will delete it.

We review this policy at least once a year and whenever we make meaningful changes to the site or the way we work. The date at the top reflects the most recent review. Material changes will be signalled on the page for a reasonable period.
