Living room of Cognac with a rust velvet sofa and a veined stone fireplace wall with a linear fire, designed by Ruba Tannous

Residential

Cognac

A red timber threshold opens to gold and walnut

THE CONCEPT

From the moment you pass through the slatted red-timber pivot entrance door, flanked by tall ornamental grasses in matte black planters, this home declares its ambition. A diagonal walnut veneer feature wall with a cascading brass cylinder chandelier anchors the salon.

The kitchen's sculptural V-base steel island sits beneath sinuous LED pendant loops. Burgundy velvet and cream leather share the living room without competing.

Every room was built for gathering — and for being remembered.

Signature Detail

A slatted red-timber wall with a flush-integrated pivot door — invisible until it opens — flanked by tall ornamental grasses in matte black planters, creates an entrance that reads as land art rather than architecture.
